Motorhome habitation checks
A habitation check covers the living side of your motorhome — gas, electrics, water, damp and safety equipment. Bring your vehicle to our workshop in Weston Longville (NR9), just outside Norwich, or we can come to you anywhere in Norfolk.

What we check
Gas system
Pipework tightness test, appliances, regulator and hoses.
12V & 240V electrics
Hook-up, leisure battery, charging, lighting and sockets.
Water systems
Fresh and waste tanks, pump, taps, heater and leaks.
Damp survey
Moisture readings taken throughout the habitation area.
Ventilation & safety
Fixed vents, smoke and CO alarms, fire safety and escape routes.
Body & fittings
Doors, windows, seals, furniture and locks checked over.

Many manufacturer and extended warranties require regular habitation checks to stay valid.
Damp caught early is far cheaper to put right, and a recent report helps when you come to sell.
